Lots of new things
May 1, 2023, was the big day. We had been preparing for it for a long time, yet it still came surprisingly quickly. Blomesystem GmbH merged with iCD System GmbH to form GUS LAB GmbH. We sent out notifications to our customers. We were able to address some of their inquiries. Internally, there were many reorganizations; all three locations (Gera, Cologne, and Wiehl) were integrated: new teams were formed in the back office, and teams were restructured in services, sales, and software development.
We made our first joint appearance under our new logo at LABVOLUTION in Hanover back in early May. In addition to its interdisciplinary exhibition area, LABVOLUTION offers compelling opportunities for knowledge transfer, sharing experiences, and networking. The team had their hands full.
Team event
A team-building event was organized for our many new colleagues. In the Bergisches Land region, all participants had a great time getting to know one another during a “Farmers’ Olympics,” where they competed in mixed teams from different locations. Egg races, horseshoe toss, milking contests… to name just a few of the activities. The day concluded with a relaxed evening featuring a barbecue and group sing-alongs accompanied by guitar. And we still have a lot planned!
