LABS/Q® Reporting: LABS/Q® Module – Configure Reports; Jasper Reports, Automated Reporting
In this training course, you will gain an overview of the available reporting tools as well as how to manage reports (distribution lists, recurring reports, etc.). The focus is on creating and/or embedding reports in LABS/Q® and accessing the necessary data (forms, tables, fields). In practical exercises, you will configure reports in LABS/Q and/or Jaspersoft® Studio. Basic knowledge of LABS/Q, as well as basic knowledge of HTML and, in particular, SQL, is required. The training is offered for the current version of LABS/Q®. For older versions, customized training may be offered upon request.

Does LIVO Technologies offer a LIMS for my industry?
LABbase® is generally suitable for all industries whose operations involve laboratory-related work. Currently, LABbase® is used in the following sectors: contract laboratories, production laboratories in the chemical, food, and beverage industries, regulatory agencies, environmental monitoring, and water management. There is no reason why it cannot be used in other industries, as LABbase® can be flexibly adapted to individual customer needs thanks to its modular design.
Does LIVO Technologies offer a mobile solution?
Q/LES is the mobile extension of our LIMS LABS/Q, designed to support lab staff directly at their workstations and lay the groundwork for a paperless lab. The Q/LES app provides exactly the information staff need to process their samples—right on their tablets. Results are entered directly at the source, eliminating the need for cumbersome paper-based workflows and time-consuming data transfers. All recorded data is transferred in real time to the connected LIMS. With the Q/LES app, you save time and avoid errors—a real benefit for the quality and efficiency of your lab work!
What interfaces does the LIMS offer?
LIVO Technologies offers testing laboratories in the veterinary and food sectors an interface to Balvi iP, a software system for regulatory monitoring, as well as to the AVVData catalogs of the Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety. Standardized data transfer (DDI – Device Data Interface) is handled via the general interface module blomesystem® LabDDI. In addition, blomesystem® QDI provides a certified interface to the QM module (Quality Management) of SAP® R/3—for all analytical laboratories that use the SAP® QM module for quality control (QDI – QM Data Interface). Interfaces also exist for various environmental databases of federal states, such as TEIS, TWIST, Octoware, and SEBAM.
I have specific requirements. Can the LIMS accommodate them?
One of LABbase®’s greatest strengths lies in its flexibility and modular design. It can handle any workflow—no matter how complex or unique. With the help of the two tools, blomesystem® Designer and blomesystem® Report Generator, LABbase® can be customized to precisely reflect even the most specialized laboratory routines. This flexibility is also a major advantage when processes change quickly—as is often the case in laboratories. As a result, LABbase® pays off more in the medium term than a product that may be cheaper but is less flexible. Many LABbase® customers have been using the solution for more than 10 years and have repeatedly adapted LABbase® to new requirements during that time.
