Product: LABbase
Use the diary feature in LABbase to quickly and easily keep track of your activities. In the corresponding worksheet, you can create diaries, to which you can assign any number of chapters and comments.
🌟Here are a few more features:
- From now on, in addition to files, any number of comments can be assigned to each record, similar to the file launcher.
- Starting now, images can be assigned to samples in several ways (drag-and-drop, context menu, file launcher, clipboard) and edited directly in the sample worksheet.
- In many worksheets, you can assign files to data records using drag-and-drop, as an alternative to the "File Launcher" (Ctrl+D).
Test reports can be generated automatically for each ongoing task and can also be sent automatically.
The "Field Selection Texts" feature now supports multilingual definitions of selection texts.
The system now generates a list of the chemicals and standards used, including their respective batch numbers, that were used in the analysis of a work list.
- There are three new methods for calculating measurement uncertainty: absolute measurement uncertainty, expanded measurement uncertainty, and measurement uncertainty based on the T-distribution.
- You can customize the error message(s) that appear when saving.
🌟The threshold value check using threshold lists has been expanded:
- You can specify a format into which the result is converted before the threshold comparison (=> to prevent threshold violations caused solely by the result having too many decimal places).
- Threshold values can optionally be compared with the result plus or minus the measurement uncertainty, and the results of these comparisons are also reported.
🌟Sample planning and processing:
- A dual-control principle can be enabled for sample processing: The system now tracks who entered a result, individual value, or raw value, or who approved a result. An employee involved in the analysis in this way is not permitted to approve the sample.
- Sample planning now supports follow-on orders. For example, if you have planned samples for an annual order, you can use a function to convert the planning definitions and any samples that have already been created to the follow-on order.
- When planning samples, the "Custom" planning cycle is available by default (allowing you to configure the schedule by month, calendar week, and day of the week). The calendar week can now be calculated according to either DIN or ISO standards.
- If you use MS Outlook as your email client: You can now automatically save emails located in a specific mailbox folder as .msg files in the database and link them to a customer address or contact.
